Ingredients
  

Salad Layers
  • 2 cups lettuce chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup cucumber diced
  • 1 cup red onion finely chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup peas frozen and thawed
Dressing
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar white or apple cider

Method
 

Assemble Salad
  1. In a large glass bowl, layer the ingredients starting with the lettuce, followed by tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, cheddar cheese, bacon, and peas.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sugar, and vinegar. Mix until smooth.
  3. Spread the dressing evenly over the top layer of peas.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
