Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken thighs
Sauce
  • 1 cup Hawaiian BBQ sauce Use your favorite brand
  • 1 cup Pineapple chunks Canned or fresh
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce Low sodium preferred
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar Packed
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground ginger
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped green onions For topping
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds Optional

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Place the boneless, skinless chicken thighs in the crockpot.
Mix the Sauce
  1. In a bowl, combine the Hawaiian BBQ sauce, pineapple chunks, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, and ground ginger. Mix well.
Cook the Chicken
  1. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the crockpot, ensuring the chicken is well coated.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
Serve
  1. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and mix it with the sauce.
  2. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
