Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Sauce
  • 1 cup sweet and sour sauce
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks canned or fresh
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar packed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
Garnish
  • 1 cup green onions sliced, for garnish
  • 1 cup sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
Make the Sauce
  1. In a bowl, combine sweet and sour sauce, pineapple chunks, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, and ginger powder.
Cook the Chicken
  1. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
Serve
  1. Once cooked, shred the chicken in the crockpot using two forks.
  2. Serve over rice and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes
