Vegetables
  • 1 head Green Cabbage chopped
  • 1 medium Onion sliced
Meat
  • 4 slices Bacon chopped
Spices
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste
Liquid
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil

Method
 

Cooking the Bacon
  1. In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
Sautéing the Vegetables
  1. In the same skillet, add olive oil if needed, then add the sliced onion and sauté until translucent.
  2. Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet, stirring well to combine with the onions.
Seasoning and Finishing
  1. Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the cabbage, stirring occasionally. Cook for about 10-15 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
  2. Stir in the cooked bacon and cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
