Method
Prepare the Dough

- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.
Roll and Fill
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently for a minute.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Spread the softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll the dough tightly from the long side, then cut into 1-inch pieces.
Bake
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Prepare Icing
- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Drizzle over warm cinnamon rolls before serving.
