Ingredients
  

Beef Brisket
  • 3 pounds beef brisket trimmed
BBQ Sauce
  • 2 cups BBQ sauce your favorite brand
Spices
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
Liquid
  • 1 cup beef broth

Method
 

Prepare the Brisket
  1. Trim excess fat from the beef brisket and pat it dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the brisket.
Cook the Brisket
  1. Place the brisket in the slow cooker.
  2. Pour the beef broth and BBQ sauce over the brisket.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the brisket is tender.
Serve
  1. Remove the brisket from the slow cooker and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  2. Serve with additional BBQ sauce if desired.
