Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 1 package pre-made pie crust or homemade if preferred
Filling
  • 1 cup diced ham cooked
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard the secret ingredient
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup chopped spinach optional for added nutrition

Method
 

Prepare the crust
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the pie crust in the pie dish and set aside.
Make the filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. Stir in the diced ham, shredded Swiss cheese, and chopped spinach if using.
Bake the quiche
  1. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust and spread evenly.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and lightly golden on top.
Serve
  1. Allow the quiche to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
