Method
Prepare the Potatoes
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Using a mandoline slicer, thinly slice the potatoes and set aside.
Make the Sauce
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.
Assemble and Bake
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the greased baking dish. Pour half of the cheese sauce over the potatoes.
- Repeat with the remaining potatoes and sauce.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

- Let the scalloped potatoes cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
