Prepare the Brownies

- In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, vegetable oil, and eggs. Whisk until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract, red food coloring, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Sift in the flour and cocoa powder. Stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the brownies cool completely in the pan.
Make the Frosting
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Add milk a tablespoon at a time until the frosting reaches your desired consistency.
Assemble
- Once the brownies are completely cool, spread the cream cheese frosting evenly on top.
- Cut into squares and serve.
