Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour sifted
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Add-ins
  • 1 cup chocolate chips semi-sweet

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat together the peanut butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Bake the Cookies
  1. Using a cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  3. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
