Prepare the Dough
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat together the peanut butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
Bake the Cookies
- Using a cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
