Base Ingredients
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup pistachios chopped
Topping Ingredients
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

Method
 

Prepare the Base
  1. In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and marshmallows together, stirring until smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped pistachios.
  3. Add the Rice Krispies and mix until well combined.
  4. Press the mixture into a greased 9x9 inch baking dish evenly.
Add the Topping
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  2. Drizzle the melted dark chocolate over the Rice Krispie base.
  3. Let the treats cool at room temperature for at least 15 minutes before cutting into squares.
