Prepare the Base
- In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and marshmallows together, stirring until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chopped pistachios.
- Add the Rice Krispies and mix until well combined.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9x9 inch baking dish evenly.
Add the Topping
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
- Drizzle the melted dark chocolate over the Rice Krispie base.
- Let the treats cool at room temperature for at least 15 minutes before cutting into squares.
