Method
Prepare the Filling
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
- Gently fold in the whipped heavy cream until fully incorporated.
Assemble the Cake
- Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture at the bottom of the loaf pan.
- Dip pieces of matzo in chocolate syrup and layer them on top of the cream cheese mixture.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of the cream cheese mixture on top.
Chill
- Cover the loaf pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
Serve
- Once set, slice the cake and serve chilled.
