Cooking the Chicken Livers
- In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they are soft and translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the cleaned chicken livers to the skillet and cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are browned and cooked through.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Blending the Mixture
- In a food processor, combine the cooked chicken livers and onions, hard boiled eggs, salt, and pepper. Pulse until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- If the mixture is too thick, add a little more butter to achieve the desired consistency.
Serving
- Transfer the chopped liver mixture to a serving dish. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with crackers or bread.
