Cooking the Chicken Livers
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they are soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the cleaned chicken livers to the skillet, season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until the livers are browned on the outside and slightly pink inside, about 10-15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Blending the Mixture
- Transfer the cooked liver mixture to a food processor. Add the chopped hard-boiled egg and blend until smooth, adjusting seasoning if necessary.
- Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
Serving
- Before serving, garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with crackers or bread.
