Ingredients
  

Potatoes
  • 4 medium Russet Potatoes peeled and thinly sliced
Dairy
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese divided
  • 1 cup Cream Cheese softened
Meat
  • 6 slices Bacon cooked and crumbled
Vegetables
  • 4 tablespoons Green Onions chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika

Method
 

Prepare the Potatoes
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, cream cheese, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Assemble the Dish
  1. Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes, then sprinkle with half of the cheddar cheese and half of the crumbled bacon.
  2. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, cream mixture, cheese, and bacon.
Bake
  1. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
  3. Remove from the oven and let it sit for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes
