Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour plus extra for dusting
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk whole or 2%
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 stick unsalted butter melted
Filling
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried Italian herbs
Topping
  • 1 tablespoon parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a Bundt pan with cooking spray or butter.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together milk and beaten egg. Add melted butter and mix.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Add the Filling
  1. Fold in the mozzarella, cheddar, bacon, green onions, garlic powder, and Italian herbs until evenly distributed.
  2. Using your hands, form small balls of dough and place them in the prepared Bundt pan.
Bake
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
  3. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
