Method
Prepare the Dough
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk and beaten egg. Gradually add to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
Prepare the Filling
- In a separate bowl, combine the mozzarella, cheddar, Italian herbs, minced garlic, and olive oil. Mix until well combined.
Assemble the Monkey Bread
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a Bundt pan.
- Divide the dough into small pieces, about the size of a golf ball. Flatten each piece and place a spoonful of the cheese filling in the center. Pinch the dough around the filling to seal.
- Place the filled dough balls into the prepared Bundt pan, stacking them as you go.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
