Ingredients

Puff Pastry
  • 1 sheet Puff Pastry Thawed
Filling
  • 1 cup Diced Ham
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Cheddar or Swiss
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard Optional
  • 1 egg Egg Beaten, for egg wash

Method

Prepare the Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced ham, shredded cheese, and Dijon mustard. Mix well to combine.
Prepare the Puff Pastry
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to smooth out creases.
  2. Cut the pastry into 4-inch squares.
Assemble the Puffs
  1. Place a tablespoon of the ham and cheese filling in the center of each pastry square.
  2. Fold the pastry over to form a triangle and press the edges to seal. Use a fork to crimp the edges for a decorative touch.
  3. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
Bake
  1. Place the puffs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
