Ingredients
  

Bread
  • 8 slices Challah or Brioche bread Cut into cubes
Egg Mixture
  • 6 large Eggs
  • 2 cups Milk Whole or 2%
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
Topping
  • 1 cup Maple syrup For serving
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar For dusting

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and granulated sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the cubed bread to the egg mixture and gently fold until the bread is well coated. Let it sit for 10 minutes to absorb the mixture.
Baking
  1. Pour the bread mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
  3. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with maple syrup and a dusting of powdered sugar.

Notes
