Method
Prepare the Eggs
- Hard-boil the eggs by placing them in a saucepan, covering with water, and bringing to a boil. Once boiling, cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 10 minutes, then cool in ice water.
Make the Filling
- Peel the cooled eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Add the French onion dip, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper to the yolks. Mash together until smooth.
- If desired, mix in the grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
Assemble the Deviled Eggs
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
- Garnish with chopped chives on top.
Serve
- Arrange the deviled eggs on a serving platter and serve chilled.
