Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.
- Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes, then sprinkle with half of the cheddar cheese.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, cream mixture, and cheddar cheese.
- Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
Baking
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
