Ingredients
  

Potatoes
  • 4 medium Russet potatoes peeled and thinly sliced
Cheese Sauce
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese divided
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.
  4. Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes, then sprinkle with half of the cheddar cheese.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, cream mixture, and cheddar cheese.
  6. Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
Baking
  1. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  3. Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
