Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Onion Soup Base
  • 2 cups French onion soup canned or homemade
  • 1 cup beef broth
Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon thyme dried
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Toppings
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup French bread, cubed for serving

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, thyme, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
Add Soup Base
  1. Pour the French onion soup and beef broth over the chicken in the crockpot.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
Finish and Serve
  1. About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the chicken.
  2. Cover and allow the cheese to melt.
  3. Serve the chicken with cubed French bread on the side.
