Method
Prepare the Chicken
- Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, thyme, black pepper, and salt.
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
Add Soup Base
- Pour the French onion soup and beef broth over the chicken in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
Finish and Serve
- About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the chicken.
- Cover and allow the cheese to melt.
- Serve the chicken with cubed French bread on the side.
