Casserole Base
  • 2 cups Corn Kernels Fresh or frozen
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Plus more for topping
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and egg. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Add the corn kernels, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9x9 inch baking dish. Spread evenly.
  5. Top with additional shredded cheddar cheese if desired.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the casserole is set and the top is golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
