Prepare the Dough
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add the beaten egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the cream cheese mixture, stirring until just combined.
Bake the Bread
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
