Wet Ingredients
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup milk whole or 2%
  • 1 large egg beaten
Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Method
 

Prepare the Batter
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cream cheese, milk, and beaten egg until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
Bake the Bread
  1. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve
  1. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
