Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 8 oz pasta (fusilli or penne) Cooked according to package instructions
Vegetables
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes Halved
  • 1 cup cucumber Diced
  • 1 cup fresh basil Chopped
Dressing
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic Minced
  • 1 teaspoon honey Optional for sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon salt To taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper To taste

Method
 

Prepare the Pasta
  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
Mix the Salad
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and basil.
Make the Dressing
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, honey, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Combine and Serve
  1. Pour the dressing over the pasta salad and toss gently to combine. Serve immediately or refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
