Cheeseburger French Fry Casserole

Ingredients
  

Meat and Vegetables
  • 1 lb Ground Beef Cooked and drained
  • 1 cup Onion Chopped
  • 1 cup Pickles Chopped
Sauce
  • 1 cup Ketchup
  • 1 cup Mustard
Cheese and Toppings
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese Shredded
  • 1 cup French Fried Potatoes Frozen or homemade

Method
 

Prepare the Meat
  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and pickles to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.
Assemble the Casserole
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked meat mixture with ketchup and mustard. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Spread half of the meat mixture in the bottom of a casserole dish.
  4. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the meat mixture.
  5. Layer the frozen French fries on top of the cheese.
  6. Top with the remaining meat mixture and cheese.
Bake
  1. Cover the casserole with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
