Ingredients
  

Base
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup oats rolled
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
Caramel Layer
  • 1 cup caramel candies unwrapped
  • 1 4 tablespoons heavy cream
Topping
  • 1 cup Butterfinger candy bars crushed
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

Prepare the Base
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add flour and oats, mix until combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
  4. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, then remove from oven and let cool slightly.
Make the Caramel Layer
  1. In a saucepan over low heat, combine unwrapped caramel candies and heavy cream.
  2. Stir until the caramel is melted and smooth.
  3. Pour the caramel mixture over the baked base, spreading evenly.
Add Toppings
  1. Sprinkle crushed Butterfinger bars over the caramel layer.
  2. Melt additional chocolate chips and drizzle over the top.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
  4. Cut into bars and serve.
