Ingredients
  

Base
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup oats rolled
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Caramel Layer
  • 1 cup caramel candies unwrapped
  • 1 4 tablespoons heavy cream
Topping
  • 1 cup Butterfinger bars chopped
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips

Method
 

Prepare the Base
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease the baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, flour, oats, baking soda, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
Make the Caramel Layer
  1. In a saucepan over low heat, combine the unwrapped caramel candies and heavy cream. Stir until melted and smooth.
  2. Pour the caramel mixture over the baked base and spread evenly.
Add Toppings
  1. Sprinkle the chopped Butterfinger bars evenly over the caramel layer.
  2. Melt the milk chocolate chips in the microwave or over a double boiler, then drizzle over the Butterfinger layer.
  3. Let cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes
