Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground lamb preferably grass-fed
  • 2 medium potatoes peeled and diced
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth low sodium
Spices and Seasonings
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for cooking

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Peel and dice the potatoes, chop the onion, and mince the garlic.
Cook the Lamb
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  2. Add the ground lamb to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned.
Add Potatoes and Seasoning
  1. Stir in the diced potatoes, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
Simmer
  1. Cover the skillet and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
Serve
  1. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
