Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 0.5 cups butter cold, cubed
  • 0.75 cups buttermilk cold
Cheese and Herbs
  • 1 cups Asiago cheese shredded
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the shredded Asiago cheese and chopped herbs.
  5. Add buttermilk gradually, stirring until just combined.
Shape and Bake
  1. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently 3-4 times.
  2. Roll out to about 1-inch thickness and cut into rounds using a biscuit cutter.
  3. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
