10-MINUTE CREAM CHEESE PASTA

Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 12 oz Pasta (spaghetti or your choice) Uncooked
Sauce
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened
  • 1 cup Pasta Water Reserved from cooking pasta
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese Grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper To taste
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley Chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Cook Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta in a colander.
Make Sauce
  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Reduce heat to low, add softened cream cheese, and stir until melted and smooth.
  3. Gradually add reserved pasta water, stirring until the sauce reaches desired consistency.
  4. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Combine and Serve
  1. Add the drained pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  2. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
