10-MINUTE CREAM CHEESE PASTA

Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 12 oz Pasta (spaghetti or your choice) Uncooked
Sauce
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened
  • 1 cup Pasta Water Reserved from cooking pasta
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper To taste
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley Chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Cook the Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta in a colander.
Make the Sauce
  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Reduce heat to low and add the softened cream cheese. Stir until melted and smooth.
  3. Gradually add the reserved pasta water, stirring until the sauce reaches your desired consistency.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Combine and Serve
  1. Add the drained pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  2. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
